Alternating Case Converter

Alternating case switches between capital and lowercase letters one letter at a time, often used online to signal a mocking or sarcastic tone. This alternating case converter starts with a capital, counts only letters, and carries the pattern across words and lines, so spaces, numbers, and punctuation never break it.

Alternating Case Converter rules

  1. Letters alternate between capital and lowercase, starting with a capital.
  2. Only letters count. Spaces, numbers, and punctuation keep their place and do not break the pattern.
  3. The pattern runs on across words and lines instead of restarting at each word.
  4. The capitals already in your text are ignored, so NASA becomes NaSa.
  5. Characters without letter case, such as Chinese or Japanese characters, stay as they are and do not count.

How to use

  1. Type or paste your text.

  2. Press Alternating Case to convert the text in place. Pasted text converts at once.
