Remove Prefix from Lines
Line prefix removal strips a marker from the start of each line. By default this tool removes "> " (a greater-than sign followed by a space), the quote marker used in email replies and Markdown; set any other prefix in the options. Lines without the prefix stay as they are, and only one is removed per line.
Spaces count: "> " removes the > and the space after it, and leaves a line that starts with ">" and no space as it is.
